Pootler's Sale-a-bration Blog Hop with Lots of Lavender

Hi everyone,

I'm so excited today to be participating in the second blog hop of the month for the Pootler's Team. We don't tend to do many blog hops - usually just one when each of the three new catalogues are published in June, September and January. But we also have an additional hop for us to showcase some of the free stamp sets and other products which are FREE as part of the Sale-a-bration promotion. This is the set that I have chosen to feature, called "Lots of Lavender":

It is a two step stamp set, with detailed outline images and then solid stamps to full them in. I chose not to use the bigger, main image but the smaller flower spray.

Lots of lavender Stampin' Up!

Firstly I decorated one of our mini pizza boxes with Petal Garden DSP in Sweet Sugarplum. I die cut a circle from Whisper White card stock with our Stitched Shapes Framelits dies and stamped the outline image for the floral spray twice in Memento Black ink. I used the solid stamps to colour in the images with Sweet Sugarplum and Old Olive. I mounted the circle on a silver doiley and glued it to the top of the box. I then wrapped some Old Olive Sheer ribbon around the box a couple of times before tying a bow.

This little box is so sweet in real life - I'm not sure the photo really does it justice. Inside the box, I put 5 little mini-cards, made to fit our 3" x 3" envelopes. I made these in a similar way but added a different sentiment on each from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments set and mounted the stamped circle on a scalloped circle.

I even stamped and decorated the envelopes to make the set even more special.

And here are the cards nestling in the box.

Hi there everyone,

After Monday's post, I had a quick look through my archived photos and found another card made using the Happy Birthday Gorgeous set which I haven't yet shared.
Happy birthday gorgeous Stampin' Up!

I cased this card completely from a post on Pinterest by a fellow demo - see her HERE. I love the colours in this pretty little card - blue, cream and gold. Don't you just love that "Happy Birthday"? Such a lovely font!  Again did a bit of fussy cutting of the flowers from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous set.

Happy Birthday Gorgeous from Stampin' Up!

Hi there everyone,

With all the lovely new products in the Spring Summer catalogue and the excitement of all the great Sale-a-bration offers, it is very easy to forget all the gorgeous sets in the Annual Catalogue. So I decided to revisit one of my favourite sets - "Happy Birthday Gorgeous". This is actually one of the cards we made at one of my classes last year - just have not shared it until now!

Happy birthday gorgeous from Stampin Up!

I've used one of the very pretty Delightful Daisy papers on a base of Wisteria Wonder. The oval panel is die cut using the Layering Ovals and the greeting is stamped with Wisteria Wonder ink.

The flowers and leaves are stamped onto Whisper White and fussy cut. The outline of the flowers were stamped first in either Calypso Coral or Peekaboo Peach and then stamped a second time with the solid stamp after "stamping off". The leaves were stamped in Old Olive and then coloured with one of our Watercolor pencils.

Here is the set I used:

Such a useful set, for only £19.00, with loads of sentiments in lovely fonts and flower and balloon images. And don't forget that at the moment, for every £45 you spend from any catalogue you can choose a free product from the Sale-a-bration leaflet. Use my monthly shopping code and you'll also receive a free gift from me in the post next month. What are you waiting for?

InspirINK Blog Hop with Stampin' Up! Large Letters

Hi there again,

So excited today to be taking part in the InspirINK Blog Hop. This is the first time I will be participating. Our theme for this month is "Sparkle, Shimmer and Shine"

And this is the project I came up with:

Large letter dies from Stampin' Up!

I used the opportunity to break open my new pack of glimmer papers, from the new Spring Summer catalogue and decorate a kraft notebook. I love the colours of this glimmer paper - light green, turquoise and iridescent. The green is a very close match for lemon lime twist and the turquoise for Tempting Turquoise or Bermuda Bay. This paper is REALLY sparkly but not sure you can see it too well on that photo so let's try a close up.

Notebook decorated with Large Letter framelits dies from Stampin' Up!

I used the large letter framelits dies for the "L" and for the flowers - yes, I used some of the punctuation dies - the asterisk die for the flowers and the colon for the flower centres!
Glimmer paper and Large letters framelits from Stampin' Up!

I made this notebook as part of a welcome pack for my newest team member - hence the "L". I'm hoping to be able to send out a lot more of these packs over the next few weeks - the joining offer during Sale-a-bration really is too good to miss. If you had been thinking about it, now is the time to do it. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. All the details below or contact me to have a very informal, no obligation chat.

Meanwhile carry on hopping around the hop. There are some fantastic projects to see - next in line is the lovely Keren Howell - just click on her name or the button below.

                           Join My Team
I don’t make any secret of the fact that joining Stampin' Up was one of the best things I have ever done! Like so many demonstrators I originally signed up for the fantastic 20% net discount we automatically receive on all orders. However, my business has gradually evolved from simply buying products for my own enjoyment, then selling a little to friends, to where I am today, with a growing base of lovely customers and a small but expanding team of demonstrators in my downline. To be able to make money doing something I really love is fantastic! Although I work hard at my business, it never really feels like work. And in addition I have made some fantastic friends and had so many laughs along the way.

If you have looked through the new catalogue (or the Annual one) your Stampin' Up wish list is more than £99, now is the time to join! Especially during Sale-a-bration, as the Starter Kit is an even better deal that usual!
You choose £130 worth of any current goods of your choice PLUS two additional stamp sets of any value (could be up to a total of £90)!
You will pay only £99 and P&P is free. And if you decide to do nothing more, that is fine. No one will contact you or pressure you. You will just "drop" as a demonstrator" at the end of June and keep your Starter Kit. From when you join until the end of June you can place further orders and will benefit from the discount.
Contact me for more details! I'll look forward to welcoming you to my team and making you a welcome pack!
