Even more Avant garden

Hi there everyone,

Those of you who follow me regularly will recognise this card as I posted it, with a quick video tutorial a few days ago. If you missed the tutorial you can catch it here:

As is usual with me, as I loved this design so much I produced it in a range of colours: Sweet Sugarplum, Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo and Rose Red.

Here is a quick pic of all four cards - I'm going to make a pretty gift bag to hold these and gift them to someone as a little pressie!

Don't forget that the brilliant Sale-a-bration promotion ends on 31st March - your last chance to get a free stamp set or other product with each purchase of £45. If you've missed it (where have you been?!) click HERE to read more.

Look forward to hearing from you,

Jill x

More Avant Garden - free stamp set!

Hi everyone,

Hope you are having a nice day. Just a quick one from me today - the last colour variation of my simple Avant Garden note cards. So far I've shown you the examples in Sweet Sugarplum, Flirty Flamingo and Dapper Denim. Today's card is in Peekaboo Peach.

This card is the last one in the set - which one is your favourite?

And here are all four notecards together:

Hope you like them as much as me!

Back soon,

More fun with Stampin' Up!'s Avant Garden stamp set

Just another very quick card from me today - and another colourway in the card design I showcased on Monday. Today's card is in Flirty Flamingo.

I have to admit, Flirty Flamingo was not a favourite colour of mine when the new In Colors were announced. But it has really grown on me!

And here is another chance to watch my video tutorial, showing just how easy it is to make this card! (You need to be viewing this on my blog and not the email link for the link to appear!)

For details of the last few remaining days of Sale-a-bration, take a look at yesterday's post - I'd be delighted to hear from you if you want to order, need a free catalogue, or just need your questions answered.

Back tomorrow,

Jill x

If you are ready to order (just click the "Shop Now" button at the top of the page) and use my shopping code (see below), next month you will receive another free package of goodies from me! I really appreciate every one of my customers!

Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration Avant Garden

As you will all know by now, my favourite stamp set from those available free with Sale-a-bration is the Avant Garden stamp set. I've had such fun creating some really beautiful cards with this set and today's card is another example.

This is so easy to make with very few products - have a look at this tutorial I've made:

The sizes of the card stock needed are as follows:

Coloured card base:
21cm x 15cm, scored on the long side at 10.5cm
(8.25 ins x 5.75ins scored on the long side at 4.125 ins)

Whisper white panel:
9.7 cm x 14.3 cm
(3.75 ins x 5.5 ins)

If you would like to get the Avant Garden stamp set for yourself, you will need to be quick. Just place an order of £45 for anything from the Annual or the Spring/Summer catalogues and you can choose this stamp set as your free item.

Just get in touch if you'd like more details or just click here HERE
to read all about it (scroll to the bottom of the post).

Don't forget to use my March shopping code too!

Have a nice day :)

Swaps from team training day

A few weeks ago I attended a training day for our team and, as is usual on these occasions, we "swapped" some of our projects with each other. What this means is that we make a certain number of identical projects and then swap these with projects by other demos. This gives us a wider selection of samples, with varying styles, to showcase to our face to face customers at parties, workshops and classes. I thought I would show you the swaps I received - advance warning, this is a very photo heavy post! I have also made a video so just click on this picture below if you would like to watch that:

The first swap I took part in was for cards made with products from the Annual Catalogue. These are the cards I received - I have listed the names of the demos who made these cards beneath the photos:

 Amanda Parry

 Nikki Joyce
 Sarah Cullen

Ali Palmer

I also took part in a group making 3D items. As I say on the video, my 3D make (video tutorial coming soon) was very simple by comparison to the projects by these other amazing demos.

 Jilly Rickards

 Lucy Tustian

 Tara Fowler
 Helen Broxap

Sylvia Lawrence

I hope you've enjoyed seeing all of these projects made from some very talented designers!

Pop of pink washi tape

Hi everyone,

Today I have another entry for the "Less is more" challenge blog to show you.
This week they are looking for cards using washi tape.

To see all the other entries, just click HERE.

This card also gives me the opportunity to continue with my theme of featuring cards which showcase the Sale-a-bration stamp sets which are currently available for you to earn for free with any order of £45 -  I have used the "So very Much" stamp set. This set consists of 5 stamps in red rubber - one HUGE "thank you" stamp in a lovely script font and then 4 tiny "add on" phrases: "so very much", "for the gift", "from all of us" and "for your kindness".

This is a fabulous stamp set to make beautiful thank you cards - you don't really need much else on a card as the huge "thank you" takes up so much of the space!

Just to add a bit of interest, I've added some Pop of Pink Designer Washi Tape, some stamped leaves from the "So In Love" stamp set, a couple of punched flowers (in Melon Mambo) and a few rhinestones.

Don't forget that there are only a few more days to take advantage of the great Sale-a-bration offers.

See below for details of the ways in which you can earn free goodies during Sale-a-bration (but only until March 31st).
