New product showcase - Spring Summer catalogue 2017

Hi again everyone,

Following on from yesterday's post, I thought you might like the chance to see some of the new products "in action". It is so difficult to decide what to show first as there are so many gorgeous new goodies, but I've selected some of my favourites. These are videos from Stampin' Up but subscribe to my blog to be sure you catch my videos on how to use these products over the next few weeks.

Hope I've managed to whet your appetite.

New Spring Summer 2017 catalogue coming soon

Good afternoon, everyone. I hope you are enjoying your time in the "no man's land" that occupies the days between Christmas and New Year? These days are actually my favourites in the whole festive season. Some down time to spend with family and friends without the pressure and stress of the "big day". Today I have been for a 4 mile walk with friends, followed by a coffee as a reward once we reached the end!

I just wanted to pop in here today to remind you all that it will very soon be time for the release of the new 2017 Spring Summer Occasions catalogue. From January 4th you will be able to order from this catalogue which is full of fabulous products. As a demonstrator I have been able to order some products early and I can't wait to start showcasing some of the samples I have made. To add to the excitement, at the same time as the release of the new catalogue, the new Sale-a-Bration promotion will begin. This is Stampin Up's most popular promotion of the year and offers everyone the chance to earn free products. For every £45 spent, you will be able to choose one free product from the Sale-a-Bration leaflet - and there are some lovely products to choose from - stamp sets, patterned paper packs, ribbon and more - you are going to want them all. What is remarkable about this promotion is that these items are available ONLY as free items with a qualifying order - they are never offered for sale.

Don't forget that if you'd like a free copy of the new catalogue and the Sale-a-bration leaflet, you only need to contact me and I'll pop one straight in the post!

I'll leave you with a few sneak peeks of makes made with some of favourites of the free items.

Will be back soon with more details. One of my New Year's Resolutions is to blog more regularly so be sure to keep watching!

Cookie Cutter treat pouch

As I promised in my last post, I have now made a short You Tube tutorial on how to make these treat pouches. Just click on the image below. As it's my first attempt at making a video tutorial, it isn't perfect but it was such a steep learning curve that now I'm prepped and ready for the next one.

Hope you enjoyed the video - it cuts off quite quickly at the end as the memory card was full, but what I was trying to say was that the link to my online shop is in the information below the video. Or if you would like to purchase any of the products used, just click on the links below.

Back soon,

Jill

Holly Berry happiness

Hi there everyone,

Can you believe that there are only 8 more sleeps until Christmas Day? December has gone so quickly this year. And here am I, still finishing of my Christmas cards. I think I am done now!

These were the last few cards I made - totally CASEd from the Autumn/Winter catalogue. Very quick and easy but I'm really pleased with them.

I still haven't finished my Christmas crafting though. Have already made over 30 of these little pouches.....

but have several more to make. Hope to be back with a little tutorial on how I made these fairly soon, if I can get the technology to work!

Stampin Up - not just cards!

Now that it's December I'm finally getting around to thinking about Christmas presents - I know, I bet you're much more organised! For me, one of the best parts is the packaging and Stampin Up makes that so easy.

This will be how I package all my gifts this year - plain brown paper, real red ribbon and tags made with the Cookie Cutter stamp set and bundle.

This one is a smaller box, wrapped in paper from the Candy Cane Lane set. The bow is made from real red cardstock using the bow maker punch.

And here they are together. Can't wait to get my tree up and start arranging this pretty gifts underneath it.

If you'd like to package your gifts like this, use the links below to buy the things you need or contact me and I'll get them to you with no P&P costs!

Flurry of Wishes bundle (stamps and punch) - 20% off

I was so excited when I saw that Stampin' Up had decided to offer the Flurry of Wishes photo polymer stamp set and matching Snow Flurry punch at a discount of 20% off as part of the Online Extravaganza running at the moment. These products will only be available as a bundle at the discounted price for 24 hours on Monday 28th November. So for one day only you can get this bundle for only £28.00. An excellent investment in a set that will come out Christmas after Christmas.

This is one of my favourite Christmas sets and I have based several classes and make 'n' takes around these products this season.

Here are the cards in more detail:

The card above was to showcase what can be done with minimal product: one stamp set, one stamp pad, Whisper White card stock, Tempting Turquoise card stock. The appearance of the snowflakes in different shades was achieved by "stamping off" either once or twice before stamping the image on the card.

This one was a similar design but stepped up with a few more product items: Ink pads in Smoky Slate, Pool Party and Tempting Turquoise, plus some basic rhinestones. This is a really quick and easy card which would be easy to bulk make for Christmas cards this year.

Again, just to showcase what can be achieved by changing a few products. This time the ink pads used were Smoky Slate, Soft Sky and Bermuda Bay. The addition of some silver sequins from the Sequin Trim and some Smoky Slate Stitched Ribbon gives a different look to the card.

This time the punch is used to punch out a few of the smaller and medium snowflakes which are then mounted on dimensionals to give a bit of dimension.

On this one, the design is stepped up by the addition of some Pool Party Stitched Satin Ribbon and by using a different sentiment from the stamp set.

For the card above I made a Pool Party square card blank, then matted a panel of Whisper White onto Tempting Turquoise. The large snowflake is stamped straight onto the card. The other two are punched out and layered up using dimensionals. This time a Basic Pearl Jewel was used to finish off the card.

Lastly, again a layered snowflake, this time using one of the smaller card blanks from the pack of Note Cards and Envelopes.

Don't forget this is just one of the products that will discounted on 28th November - I'll showcase some of the others another day. And to see the full list of products available for the whole week during the Online Extravaganza (21st - 28th Nov) there’s a PDF here that you can print off and peruse at your leisure.
